Location

Villa Kallisti is situated in Agios Aimilianos, Argolis on the eastern coast of the Peloponnese. It is found at the highest point of a hill, offering breath-taking views of the island of Spetses and the surrounding regions. It is only a 2.5 hour drive from Athens International airport. You can also arrive via ferry from the port of Peiraeus in around 3.5 hours.

The villa is only an 8 min drive away from the town of Porto Heli. In the summer, fishing boats and yachts frequently moor in the area, giving the Greek port of Porto Heli a cosmopolitan feel.

The area offers both organized beaches, as well as little, quiet coves with a tranquil environment.

You can find opportunities to take part in water sports, diving, or hiking, and, of course, enjoy some well-deserved relaxation.

If during your holidays you wanted to explore the nearby islands of Spetses,
Hydra or Poros, there are numerous sea taxis and ferries that frequently depart you can do so via ferry or sea taxi.

Porto Heli, a tiny seaside town with a sizable harbor, is situated on the eastern coast of the Peloponnese. Culture

The protected harbor looks out towards the ruins of the old city of Alieis (fishermen). In Porto Heli, the acropolis and the ancient city of Alieis (6th–5th centuries BC) were discovered. The Kranidi Folk Art Museum and the Archaeological Museum of Nafplio now house all of the discoveries.

On the eastern side of the Peloponnese, in the prefecture of Argolida, is the small and endearing town of Porto Heli. There are several serene beaches in the area, which has outstanding natural beauty. In Porto Heli, there aren’t many attractions save lovely villages and beaches.

Ververontas Lagoon is a terrific location for springtime strolls, but it’s also wonderful in the summer for swimming and sunbathing. Chinitsa, with its golden sand, and Kounoupi, with its crystal-clear waters, are two further beaches you must see.

 

Climate

Porto Heli has a Mediterranean climate, which means that it experiences warm summers and mild winters. The typical summertime temperature ranges from 30 to 40 °C. More than 12 hours are spent in the sun, and a gentle wind is brought by the sea. The environment is typically cooler and cozier at night. The average temperature in September is around 30-32 oC, which is actually quite hot as well. The temperature tends to drop a few degrees during this month. Beginning in October and continuing through February are drops in temperature and an increase in rainfall. However, even in the winter, temperatures typically range from 7 to 15 oC. They also include in an average of 10 wet days per person. The temperatures at Porto Heli fluctuate from March to May.
